As of 4/25/18, not worth it. I picked it up for 5 bucks, spent a few hours getting 45 floors down, and am bored. Not returning, and will absolutely try again after 3.0 release. Feels like a standard dungeon crawler, with not so subtle puzzle elements on choosing targets and equipment.. I must say that I was quite disappointed by steam version. I expected more quality for paid game yet I have encountered the same stupid and unnecessary bugs as in the free flash version. The paid version should be MUCH MORE polished .. I played this for like 5 hours and deleted it afterwards. Almost no additional content and tons of bugs.. Pros:- Nice graphics- Some ability to reply- Good time wasterCons:- A little pricey for a time waster- Although you can replay to try new styles, it is somewhat repetitiveWhile I greatly enjoy the game, I do believe it isn't for everyone. I played the first and loved it, and didn't mind getting the second to expand. It's fund to waste time on, and occasionally re-visit. My biggest issue with it is the price considering how little gameplay there actually is.. The Enchanted Cave 2 is a light, fun dungeon crawler. Your quest covers 100 levels, and you can only save certain gear as you progress. You make multiple runs of the cave, and you get different loot as you go. The loot can be nicely customised by other items that you find as you travel. Those items can either enhance gear, or be turned into potions. That's an excellent feature, and it means you're rewarded by using different combinations of ingredients. If you're on level 80 and you have a ton of starting ingredients, you can just turn them into potions and get some good effects.If you're careful, you won't die in the game and your character just keeps getting better and better. It took me 25 hours to play through the game and I haven't had a character die. Since then, I have started the new game + mode, but the gear all seems really basic so I'm not sure if there's much point continuing.I certainly enjoyed the game. It's a simple game at its core, but it has enough customisation of gear, and enough skills, that the game has a surprising amount of depth.. Very fun game, very addicting. One of the best roguelikes I have played in a while. Only downside is XP grinding may occur if you dont choose your skills carefully.. A fun rouge-like dungeon crawler that I have played this game before on the browser and beaten it. But on steam it has about 20 extra floors to dive though, find new artifacts,enchant more, and level up higher then you were before. I would recommend this game when its on sale. It uses up some good time when you just need to waste it. 7/10. In this game you explore a dungeon filled with monsters. But unlike most dungeon crawlers, this one has a casual feel to it. The monsters only attack when you walk into them. There is many secrets to find through out it's 40+ floors. Many Hours of fun to be had with this game.. Very entertaining and addicting, I definitely suggest getting this game. It can get frusterating at times, but is still amazing.
